The world of Up began with the thought of escape. From the claustrophobic shapes of an encroaching cityscape to the uncharted wilds of South America, our team employed its newly invented concept of "simplexity" to push the visual envelope while keeping the world believable. On Up I was lucky to touch a wide range of props and sets. From construction vehicles for Carl's neighborhood, to very organic Tepui sets like the Flats, Cave in Muntz Lair and the iconic Paradise Falls.
